The system automatically records and slices live video content, stores it in an enterprise MAM, then prepares and delivers media as called for by a custom-developed traffic and scheduling system.
- Liaised with primary system vendors and integration team to ensure completeness of detailed systems design and implementation, system commissioning and acceptance. This included accelerated file transfers with Signiant, content transcode with Telestream Vantage, file-based QC with Tektronix Aurora, video stream server by Wowza, and web based proxy media viewer with OpenTelly THEOPlayer.
- Co-defined and coordinated the IT infrastructure deployment needed to support the solution. Led regular team meetings and provided technical contributions to the client’s project manager.
- Led system-level testing and participated in QA testing to ensure success with the broadcast automation and playout systems.
- Developed and documented system level standard operating procedures for client’s master control and production level users.
