About me? Well, first have a look at my resume to get a feel for what I do in my primary career. I really enjoy the nature of my work, in that I have the opportunity to work with great people, help them find a new way to use technology, and oversee the implementation of the solution. Even if the technology is software, there is a great sense of satisfaction knowing you helped make something.
In my spare time, I have a number of hobbies. Photography is a passion of mine that started in my youth, and I've really expanded my interest in the last decade. My portfolio is available on another page of this site. Another hobby is woodworking, though this is a bit harder to maintain when I travel for work. Plus the photography thing is taking over most of my spare time. Travel is always fun, and yes, I usually tie travel to some more photography.
My portfolio pages will increase as I upload more content to it, so please come back often to check out the latest images.
And of course I spend as much time as I can with my family. In the summer of 2016, we spent a week in southern Florida (yes, I know, it was hot and humid), and I'm also mentoring my son who is working on his Boy Scout Eagle project and my daughter working on her Girl Scout Gold Award.
For those who want to know, my son is building a bocce court for our town's seniors center and plans to complete the project in September 2016. My daughter is preparing a video tutorial on the benefits of track and field exercises and fitness. She too estimates completion of her project in September 2016.Tom in Key West, Florida, 2016
